- To access MIRA’s 24/7 non-emergency service Immigration Advocate Legal Helpline, community-based organizations can call 508-293-1871. Leave a voicemail with your contact details and your inquiry (without disclosing any client-specific information) and Helpline staff will arrange a callback.

- PAIR has a Self-Help Manual for Noncitizens Detained by Immigration (ICE) available on MassLegalHelp.

- The MA Office of the Attorney General has information on family preparedness available in several languages, and an emergency planning factsheet for families.
- MIRA’s Immigrant Assistance Services (IAS) program has a list of Immediate Resources for Immigrants and Refugees including food, shelter, medical care and family resources.

- New England Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON) provides free services to Massachusetts immigrants seeking humanitarian-based legal relief. Public benefits
- Visit Protecting Immigrant Families for the latest public charge guidance for advocates.
- Those who qualify as a Cuban/Haitian Entrant may be eligible for benefits offered through the Office of Refugee Resettlement, including cash assistance, medical assistance, and more.
Welcome centers
- There are now two “Family Welcome Centers” open in Massachusetts to help families, especially immigrant families, seeking services, supplies, transportation, and shelter. One is located at the Brazilian Workers Center at 14 Harvard Ave., #2, Allston. The second one is located at Bay State Community Services in Quincy.
