Our Impact

Organizations who partner with Legal Key are equipped to understand the wide range of laws and legal systems that impact health, and then take action to help those they serve resolve those needs. Through pre- and post-training surveys and other data, our partners have expressed that they:

  • Understand available resources and key legal rights
  • Recognize how they can resolve legal issues in their roles
  • Are empowered to use law preventatively to support individuals before legal issues escalate into crises

In 2025, Legal Key answered more than 900 legal consultation questions from our care team partners. The most common questions were related to some of the most challenging legal needs, such as housing, immigration status, child welfare involvement, and income security.

Through our consult practice, we teach a strengths-based approach to problem-solving. This helps care teams find resolutions for those they serve, and recognize and address signs of their own fixing fatigue.

When a care organization makes the choice to incorporate legal supports into their work, that decision changes their operations, internal culture and outcomes for those they serve.
