MBTA and regional transit services

RMV

  • RMV Service Centers may handle walk-in transactions but will prioritize services by appointment. Use the myRMV Online Service Center to make a reservation or to complete more than 40 transactions online.
  • Some RMV services are available at AAA locations by appointment.

Other

  • A valid passport or a Real ID is required for U.S. travelers 18+ to board domestic flights. However, if someone does not have one they have the option to pay a $45 fee to use TSA ConfirmID. This can be done ahead of time, and travelers should plan for extra time at the airport.
  • Eligible RIDE users can sign up for the RIDE Flex program to book on-demand services through Uber and Lyft.
  • MassHealth members may qualify for non-emergency transportation to and from MassHealth covered medical appointments. Members can check eligibility by calling 1-800-841-2900. Their provider will need to complete an online transportation request (i.e., a “PT-1 form”).
